Coworkers and friends, Juliette and Christina, were united in their passion for travel. Countless times over the years had they helped each other brainstorm a new travel destination, weighing in on potential hotel bookings or flight deals, and sharing itineraries and travel notes with one another.

After sharing travel experiences amongst friends at a cocktail party, someone suggested that we compile all of these great notes and itineraries for us all to share. This is where the idea for TripNotes was born.

We both love to dig in on the research and planning of our next adventure, like reading blogs and travel magazines, but always find ourselves looking to friends, family, or friends of friends for recommendations or inspiration based on their actual lived experiences. What is better than asking someone first-hand where to stay, which cities are worth visiting, and what the highlights (or drawbacks) were from their recent trip?

Our goal is to compile tried and tested travel itineraries from a multitude of destinations, types of trips, and sources.

Think of this site as a collection of notes from friends who want to share their itineraries and trip notes with you.
